I offer a compassionate and supportive space for you to release whatever is troubling you.

I understand that it can feel isolating and destabilising to struggle alone.  You may be experiencing physical symptoms and feel overwhelmed, stuck, hopeless, angry, lost or confused.  Perhaps relationships, work or family are a major stressor in your life, or a recent life event has impacted you. Whatever your reasons for seeking counselling, please know that they are valid and deserve your attention.

I am an active and engaged counsellor, offering gentle challenge and new perspectives. I love to help my clients feel empowered, uncover new ways of understanding themselves which often opens the doors to lasting change, beyond symptom relief.  If you would like to start working towards enhancing your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, please enquire below.

As a counsellor in the final submission stage for an Advanced (Level 6) Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling, at the Bath Centre of Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), I am pleased to offer accessible and affordable counselling in the community.  Sessions can be for an agreed period of time or available on an ongoing basis.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to professional standards and fully insured.

 â€‹â€‹

As well as my private practice in Swindon, I am currently a volunteer counsellor at IPSUM and have been supporting clients for two years.

My experience includes but is not limited to: work related issues, stress, relationship difficulties, cultural family dynamics, trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, self-harm, self-esteem and confidence struggles.

Prior to my four years of training, I held a rewarding role as a Progress Coach, supporting young people on a pastoral level.  Having also worked in the Financial Services industry for fifteen years, I understand the complexities that may be encountered in the corporate world as well as within education.  My interest in psychology stems in part from my own life experiences and the impact it has on relationships.

Approach - how I work:

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on humanistic and psychodynamic models of practice, to ensure sessions are attuned to you and your individual needs. I value a holistic approach to wellbeing, which considers the body and mind connection.  I will support you by listening to you, offering gentle challenge and different perspectives where necessary.  Our work may involve exploring thoughts, body sensations, feelings and patterns of behaviours, to enable you to make sense of the difficulties you are facing.  I also offer creative interventions if this is appropriate, such as working with stones, drawing and guided meditations.  You may also wish to explore influences from the past that may be impacting you now, in the present.  However we choose to work together, I am interested in everything you have to bring and it will inform our work.

I have witnessed first hand the transformative power of the process of counselling. Meaningful and purposeful insights often bring greater clarity to your individual experiences and lead to positive shifts.
